Welcome to the bungalow in the burbs, project. The corner gallery wall. Since you loved our office gallery wall, we did another one.
I knew I wanted a gallery wall in our new home. We just weren't sure where. When we put the IKEA backsalen chair in the corner of our room and it fit perfectly, we thought this would be the perfect spot to add a small gallery wall.
Gallery walls are one of our favourite ways to add interest to your space without breaking the bank.
This is a corner of our bedroom. We knew we wanted a warm, cozy vibe in this corner.

First things first, we went to Pinterest to gather some inspiration, then to Canva to create a mood board.
We went with Baby fawn by Benjamin Moore and it was the perfect choice, just makes the room feel warm but isn't too dark either.
It's the prefect warm neutral, and it goes great with the relaxed modern vintage aesthetic we are going for. We did Benjamin Moore's regal paint line in an eggshell finish.
Over here. We like to pain the trim as well. We are big fans of the wall and trim the same colour, but either way works. Or you could even do a contrast trim, which is trending at the moment.
Let's get started on this modern vintage inspired reading corner and gallery wall.
We mapped out the wall with tape first to see where we were going to put the tv. We just wanted a basic idea of space.
Tip: start with the largest art print first, then build from there. In our case we used the tv so we started with that and then placed the other frames around.

I took the tap off the wall and placed on the floor just so I could see how the art was going to look all together.
However, as you can see below, we just ended up winging it. This is the best way it just feels more organic, making the space feel more casual and relaxed.
We hung the curtains and I must say, this room is coming together nicely. These two-page curtains are a great price and of such good quality, I highly recommend.
They are in the linen fabric, lightly lined in the shade of walnut.
Full room reveals coming soon.

This is it! I love how warm and moody it feels. Plus, with the tv we can change the art to whatever we like.
I just type in vintage art on YouTube and there are so many to choose from you can also download printed art and display as well.
We just love this modern vintage inspired reading corner and gallery wall.
We hope this gives you inspiration for your next home project.Table, pillow and blanket are all from HomeSense
