Well it's getting closer to that time of year again. Soon the kiddos will be out of school for summer break.
I must say the biggest challenge is always trying to keep them busy so they don't get board.
Here is a list of the best outdoor toys that will keep your little one occupied, well for the most part.
Here is my best 8 outdoor toys for kids that they will love.

1. Bug collector
This is so fun for the kids and will definitely keep them occupied.
They will love collecting bugs giving them leaves and gas to eat. This is a great way for them to learn about bugs.
The bug collector from amazon comes with a bug book to help you kids learn about bugs.
2. Chalk markers
chalk markers are great toy for kids, they work on white boards and chalk boards without all the dust.
They are great to colour on rocks and windows, wiping off easily.
They don't get messy chalk dust everywhere and all over hands much cleaner to use and really fun.
If your kids have never tried these I highly recommend my daughter loved colouring on the back glass doors and it wipes away easily.
She can do this for hours I think it's the fun for them to colour other things than paper.
3. Tent
A good old fashion camping tent will do the trick.
Set up some legos in there let them bring some of their favourite toys and even set up a picnic.
It's also great to go relax after running in the sprinkler or swimming in the pool.
Perfect for an outdoor fort I know your kids will love playing in there.
Tip: for those of you with toddlers and have a small blow up pool, you can place pool in tent.
one it helps with keeping them shaded on hot sunny days and you get a lot less bugs and other stuff floating in the pool.
4. Rocket sprinkler
Fun Fun Fun! the kiddos will love this sprinkler.
The water pressure makes the rocket shoot up high then sprinkles water out the top.
This is a fun toy and a great way to cool off.
The only downside is they will probably ask you to shut the water on and off so they can see the rocket shoot up again and again.
5. Reusable water balloons
We love these used them all last summer.
If you haven't heard of these I bet your mind is blown lol they are the best invention.
For those with older children and little ones water balloons are hard cause you have to pick them up right away so the littles don't put the broken balloon pieces in their mouth.
you can use them easily fill them up in a bucket of water, pool, or hose.
We took them to the splash pad and the kids went crazy for these we must of spent 2 hours there and all the kids just kept playing with them.
These are definitely a must buy this summer.
Reusable water balloons are a mommy life saver, when you need a coffee break bring these out and for at least 30 minutes the kids will be occupied .
6. Snack caddy
Okay, I know this isn't really a toy but I had to include it cause kids love it!
There is just something about them organizing their snacks and getting to bring it outside an have picnic.
Honestly, they can be used for holding crafts legos, toys pretty much anything but snacks is what we use them for.
The caddy is handy and easy for mom to bring out snacks for multiple kiddos.
My daughter loves organizing her snacks in her caddy she treats it like a fun game and I think your kids will too!
A summer must have for sure.

7. Play park
Well this is a given what kid doesn't want a park in their backyard.
This one I love, it's smaller so it fits in most backyards, it wood so it sturdy, and priced under $600 it's a steal.
Most park sets are well over a thousand dollars and very large.
It's small and compact but gives them everything they need, slide, swings and sandbox.
8. Axe throwing
If you want to get your kids something really fun for the summer this is it.
There is something about this axe throwing game that kids love, and I must admit I enjoy it too!
I will admit it's price tag is a little high however, it's well made works great and my daughter and friends play with this all the time so I do think it's worth it.
we had this at my daughters birthday party and the kids went crazy for it and they all were asking their parents for one.
It's a popular item so grab it while you can!
Here are all the best outdoor toys I know your kids will love. I hope this gives you some options to keep your kids busy through out the summer.
